Move With Intention

Fitness & Recreation

The Qalexagrand fitness floor is a 6,200-square-foot commitment to guests who treat physical output as non-negotiable, regardless of where they are in the world. Open 24 hours a day and staffed by certified movement coaches during peak hours, the facility is built for people who want to push hard before a day at the tables or run hard to clear their head after one. Edmonton's extraordinary river valley trail network begins less than eight minutes from the front door, and our recreation desk bridges the gap between what is inside the building and what is just beyond it.

Fitness & Recreation

40-Metre Indoor Sprint Track

The only hotel-based indoor sprint track in Edmonton runs a full 40 metres along the facility's north wall - designed for interval training, acceleration work, and guests who need to move fast without going outside in January.

Strength & Conditioning Zone

Olympic barbells, adjustable cable systems, plyo boxes, and a full rack of rubber-coated dumbbells up to 50 kilograms fill a dedicated strength zone separated from the cardio floor by a frosted partition.

River Valley Trail Concierge

A dedicated trail desk connects guests with guided river valley trail runs, fat-tire bike rentals, and cross-country ski packages through Edmonton's 160 kilometres of maintained parkland pathways - bookable the night before.

In-Room Momentum Kits

Every room can be pre-stocked with a Momentum Kit - resistance bands, a laminated river valley trail map, electrolyte packs, and a foam roller - delivered before arrival at no charge for loyalty members.

Movement Coaching Sessions

On-site certified coaches are available for 30- and 60-minute sessions covering strength programming, running form, and mobility work - bookable through the front desk up to 12 hours in advance.

Early-Riser Priority Access

Hotel guests who sign up for a 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. priority window receive the fitness floor exclusively - no external members, no shared machines, just uninterrupted training before the city wakes up.
